In order to resume the exchanges between Chinese and foreign personnel in an orderly manner, starting from March 12, 2021, the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Macao S.A.R and HongKong S.A.R, Chinese Embassy in Japan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, UK, Denmark and Australia have issued announcements in succession to provide visa facilitation applies to applicants who have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines produced in China.

為有序恢復中外人員往來，近日，中國外交部駐香港、澳門特別行政區特派員公署，中國駐日本、韓國，泰國，菲律賓、英國、丹麥、澳大利亞等多個國家大使館相繼發出公告，將從2021年3月15日起，對已經接種中國生產的新冠肺炎疫苗，并持疫苗接種證明材料的申請人提供簽證便利。

See the following notice 

（1） Please be noted that the above-mentioned visa facilitation applies only to applicants who have been inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines produced in China (either having received two doses of Chinese-made vaccines with the stipulated gap in between, or having received a single-dose Chinese-made vaccine at least 14 days prior to the application) and obtained the vaccination certificate. Those applicants who have been COVID-19 vaccines produced in other countries would not enjoy the visa facilitation.

以上相關便利僅適用于已經接種中國生產的新冠肺炎疫苗（接種中國生產的疫苗并按規定時間間隔打完2針或接種中國生產單針疫苗后滿14天），并持疫苗接種證明材料的簽證申請人。接種其他國家疫苗的申請人不適用此政策。

（2）Foreign personnel and their family members who meet the above-mentioned requirements will no longer need to provide the Invitation Letter (PU) issued by the foreign affairs offices or the departments of commerce of the provincial (including autonomous regions and municipalities) governments when applying for a visa.

滿足條件的外籍人員及其家屬來華，可以不再提供省級外事或商務部門出具的邀請函了。

（3）The scope of applicants eligible for applying for a visa out of emergency humanitarian needs will be expanded, so if you have a reasonable and urgent need for visiting China, you could contact the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country for detail information and submit your visa application according to the Embassy/consulate’s guidance.

“緊急人道主義需要”赴華人員簽證審發范圍適度擴大。所以如果申請人有因私緊急赴華的需求，可以直接聯系使館說明，進行申請。

（4）Now there are chances for the holders of valid APEC business travel cards. If they meet the requirements mentioned in the notice, and their APEC business travel cards are still valid, then they may apply for the M-visa by presenting the original valid APEC business travel card and the Invitation Letter issued by the inviting party in the mainland of China.

持APEC卡的申請人有機會來華了。滿足此項政策條件，就可以憑中國境內邀請單位出具的邀請函，去使館申請商務簽證了。

（5）Based on the announcement published in last November on the Suspension of entering China (click here for detail notice), if the holders of current valid Chinese visas and residence permits of work, private affairs and family reunion meet the requirements mentioned in the notice, then they could enter China with the current visa or residence permit now. 

針對于去年11月下發的“關于暫時停止持有效中國簽證、居留許可的在英人員入境的通知”（點擊查看詳情），如果滿足此項政策條件，持目前有效工作類、私人事務類、家庭團聚類在華居留許可人員，赴華入境將不再受影響。

We believe that the Chinese embassies and consulates in other countries would provide visa facilitation to the applicants from those countries in the near future, while it still needs to be taken into consideration that it’s not so easy to be inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines produced in China now. 相信之后，將會有越來越多的中國駐外使領館會發布以上政策通知。但目前因為外籍人在國外很難接種到中國生產的疫苗，后續我們將會對這一政策進行跟進。
